Thats a good starting 5, One name I did'nt see was Jason Schuetz (Verona, WI.) 6-7, lanky, but a real battler under the basket.

Meister is definetly my favorite center in the past 20 years.

Yeah, I think we need a third team here:

Off guard: Jeff Booher
Small forward: Derrick Schantz
Power forward: Cory VandeWettering
Center: Tom Rops

Of those named, I'd probably want on the floor at the end of the game:
Showers, Sempsrott, White, Jones, Meister.

SG: Austin Hansen
SG: Chris White
PF: Matt Jones
C: Tom Rops

It was pretty hard to leave out Sempsrott but I couldn't leave out White, Norberg, or Hansen either. You can't go wrong with any of those guys.

Here is my $0.02!!!

Starters:

PG: Jermaine Showers
SG: Chris White
SF: Jeff Booher
PF: Tom Rops
C: Kurt Meister

Jermaine could shoot the 3, pass the rock, and take it to the rack. Perfect combo for the PG. Chris White is the best guard ever at SDSU, period! Jeff Booher was an unbelievable defender and a clutch shooter. He worked as hard as anybody that I've seen. Well, he's also a Brookings boy! Tom Rops was tough as nails inside, an enforcer. He also had a nice touch and could shoot the 3. Kurt Meister had outstanding hands for a big man and was a great leader. One of the nicest kids to play in Frost Arena.

Thinking back, there are a lot of players that I can't believe I'm leaving out. Nagy always wants a deep team, so here is my dream bench.

Dream Bench:

PG: Brian Norberg - Career assist leader and great D!
SG: Jason Sempsrott - All time gamer and 90% at line!
SG: Austin Hansen - Great pure shooter!
SG: Chris Stoebner - Unbelievable effort!
SF: Casey Estling - Mr. Hustle and great court presence!
SF: Ryan Naatjes - Great outside shooter and nobody got the crowd going like Ryno!
PF: Derrick Schantz - Consistent all around player
PF: Jason Schuetz - Not much power but super-athletic.
PF: Matt Wallace - Good defender and soft touch
C: Cory VandeWettering - "Dutch" was a solid post
C: Pete Leiferman - Improvef every year. Brookings boy!

This has got me really reminiscing about the old days.
