Surely you jest. McDermott has been in discussions for player of the year consideration - national player of the year. Royce White was projected as a possible NBA lottery pick coming out of high school at I believe Hopkins, MN. He originally signed with the Gophers, but was in eligible to play, so he transferred to Iowa State.Some of this discussion about Nate getting this award ended up on the Naters thread. Nate is a two-time selection which is a big honor. In the last 10 years only two Summit players have been selected. Nate has been selected twice and Ben Woodside once. It would be nice if Nate can become a 3-time selection. I'm assuming that is very rare.
