I watched online. Terribly boring and reffing was terrible. So inconsistent. Maybe it looked better in person, but on the computer, I thought there were some terrible calls.

We looked so flat most of the game but Nate carried us and Marcus gave us another shot off the bench. Marcus playing great lately.

EDIT: Turning the page on this one. Time to beat down USD again next Thursday.

This is what SUU does very well. They make you play their style, I think it helps having ORU as a travel partner as well because every team is prepping hard and doing more for the ORU game then they are for the SUU game.

Nagy's post-game interview was hilarious. Was impressed with how we play.

And the flagrant foul that was called on SUU in the first half on Dykstra shouldn't have been a flagrant. The guy bit on a pump-fake and had no control of his body.

Pretty weird weekend of officiating: 2 flagrants, neither of which were really flagrant, a blarge and a 6-point possession. Good stuff.

I agree with you on the flagrant call. The way he came down on Jordan made it look way way worse than it was, he wasn't trying to take him out. The dude just bit on the pump fake and Jordan went up under him.

I've just about calmed down now from tonight's games.

Those two games reminded me a lot of some of those NCC conference games, back in the old days. Those were WARS, and the outcome was in doubt pretty much all night.

That was what conference games were all about--dogfights from start to finish.

I didn't think that was a foul on Wolters for that 3 pt play.

Dykstra needs to pull his head out and start playing better.

Dykstra was really hurting after the hard foul. About midway through the second half he lined up for a free throw and you could see he was in pain - one of the refs talked to him,and he went out of the game and never returned. Looked to be neck or back related.
