Usually they save the best for last? Probably we're the only fans watching and trying to keep their captured audience......

Just posted by Terry Vandrovek on Twitter:

"Just in: SDSU (17-6) will host Buffalo (12-6) in BracketBusters on Feb. 18 at Frost Arena on ESPNU. Noon tipoff."

My guess is 5pm for women's game.

                        Buffalo:
                        Sagarin 89 (SDSU is 64)
                        Pomeroy 85 (SDSU is 61)
                        RPI 98 (SDSU is 64)

All I can say is that they'd better win the MAC (after we beat them, of course)

                            Re: Bracketbusters home game

Not sure on what goes all into deciding who plays on TV, if a certain team didn't want to play at noon, or didn't want to travel that far or if they wanted to get a new team matchup. But it just surprised me that SDSU didn't get a Missouri Valley team. The only thing I can think of is, that they try to match up new teams and in the past 5 years SDSU has played Northern Iowa and Drake.

I might be able to make this game.

Should be fun. Don't really know anything about them.

It will be weird having a game in the afternoon but hopefully we can fill it up a bit.

In the six degrees of separation category, Turner Gill was head football coach at Buffalo before he went to Kansas, whom the Jacks play next season. That's about the only thing I can see the two schools have in common. It's probably one of the few schools who will look forward to the Feb. 18 weather in Brookings.
