    In general, trades during the NBA draft occur much more frequently than say, the NFL. Probably because there are only 2 rounds. I would venture a guess that anyone who is watching the NBA draft for the first time (or paying closer attention) might be left with their head spinning. I know I was. Even the announcers couldn't keep up.

    If there was one thing I was disappointed in, it was not hearing Nate's name called like most of the other picks. Kind of took away from the moment for me.

      Agreed! Watching in frustration, only to have it announced after the fact. Bummer. I think I fell asleep before learning that he ended up with the Bucks.

          Trades happen more so in the NBA then any other league because of the salary cap, and only 2 rounds, add in that 2nd rounders are not guaranteed contracts and you can see how/why so many trades occur.

          Nate ended up in a good position, both the 76ers and Bucks would have been good fits, but I like the Bucks better, because I feel that they are closer to becoming good, but still have openings at their guard positions.

          Now its just up to Nate to make the team, I'm sure they will give him every opportunity to do so.

            I think a lot of people forget the Bucks still made the playoffs last year. Sure were not a great team but good enough and he has a chance to really step up here. I like this better then sitting as the last one off the bench for a top team or being on a horrible team that is a disaster.

            So has anyone gone to make his jersey yet? some websites you can put what ever name and number you want into a jersey so wasnt sure if anyone went and made and got the first offical Wolters nba jersey.

                Don't forget Yao Mings wife was a Chinese National team member and is like 6'3" and had a daughter. Imagine how tall his daughter is going to be.

                  I will make the argument that it could be considered a compliment that Wolters was sought after enough to be involved in two trades on draft night. No insight on the first "trade" but it seems that Milaukee really values Nate as a prospect. I would suggest choosing to look at it that way.

                  No matter what you opinion of the process that transpired to deliver him there I believe that this situation will result in a fair chance for Nate to play and make an impression on the Bucks.

                    Correct. And if China was run like it was 40 years ago, his wife would likely be someone taller than the 6'3" inch woman he married. Oh, and they likely wouldn't be allowed to have a daughter, depending on how the politics played out.

                    There are more than enough things actually wrong in the world, I think comparing Nate's draft night to slave trading is pretty silly (sorry Nidaros).
