    don't attack the poster.

    To the initial post

The argument about 1000 jumpers with a flawed shot is flawed, because he shot well this year. The best make things better. Your argument is like saying Tiger shouldn't have practiced his swing because he then went to change it.

Nate weighed in at 196lbs 5.5% body fat, he is the heaviest PG, 2nd tallest and has a body fat that is in the same area as the rest of them. You don't just do that overnight. Now yeah maybe he should have worked on some of that during college, IDK, I don't know Nate I don't know what he did or didn't do, but SDSU's job is to make SDSU better, not make Nate a better or worse NBA prospect.

"To bad Nate did not put as much time into building his body in terms of strength size and explosion as he did shooting 1000's of jumpers with a flawed release. My guess is that is what they are doing with him at IMG--revamping his shot and showing him how to work on his physicality. If someone came up to him and said Nate--you need to change this and work on this after his junior season--I'm sure he would've done it. (my guess is that if he did he would've locked for a top 20 pick) Now hes at-least a year behind physically(because he cant compensate with innate athletic ability) and my guess is that he sits around 36-46. He needs to go to a team that has a three year plan with him and not a team who wants to stash him in Europe. If he is able to put on 10-12 pounds of muscle and the accompanying explosion --he's got a chance to be a really good NBA player in 2-3 years. I think he will need to start in the D league to get used to the speed of the games"

Your reasoning seems logical and I see no harm in you having this opinion.....keep posting,we need different ideas and opinions to keep the discussions from becomming stale and mundane.Word of caution though, don't imply, however subtly you do it,that the coaching staff doesn't handle their players well,it tends to draw peoples ire,as you have seen. How the post is worded makes a lot of difference, and ,you can get the same point accross,.....don't feel bad,i've stepped on a few toes too,it happens sometimes with peoples differing perceptions of things.Everyone on this board are decent people you will find.

As for ekn, wrong forum for that post. We are Jackrabbit fans here. Your opinions are for the post-Jackrabbit Nate Wolters. I am quite certain Coach Nagy has no reservation about how he coached one of HIS players. I have no idea if your post actually contains any facts or if your suggestions are relevant in any way to Nate's future in the NBA.

Haven't tried that one. I'm slowly getting over regular Dew, but nothing beats the sweet nectar of the Gods.

PS- switching to diet soda induced an immediate weight loss of around 10 pounds for me.

Tea and/or coffee are still, I guess, much healthier for you (better pH balance; antioxidants, etc., etc.), but I'm personally quite addicted to Coke Zero.

Yeah, all Nate did was develop into SDSU's all time leader in scoring, assists and flattering headlines in three years as a starter. There are probably hundreds of college players who would love to have his hard-earned ability and bright future.

It all depends on what teams’ needs are and whether they value his size and versatility as a point guard instead of some other aspect. There are a lot of factors."

According to TV Nate has workouts with Cleveland and Phoenix later this week.

Also hearing reports that Nate has a workout scheduled with the Knicks. Rumors are the Knicks want a point guard and are trying to buy an early 2nd round pick so they don't have to take a point guard with their first round pick.

According to Andy Rennecke of the St. Cloud Times Nate has 11 more individual workouts planned. And is in Cleveland Friday and Phoenix Saturday

Nate is working out with the Bucks today. They are one of the teams I'd expect to take a point guard in the draft.
