It will be interesting if this has any correlation when the Player of the Year is picked. Hamilton has been picked 4 times and DoMo twice. It should come down to Nate and Morrison when you factor in how well their teams have done. I would give the edge to Nate because of the position he plays - point guards have the most effect on how a team plays. I am guessing the POY is selected before the tournament ?

I love it when out opposition, UMKC or NDSU for instance blows it bigtime when trying a stuff and then our "good old reliable Nate" steals the ball and gently lays it in for two points!

The Tulsa World did a mock vote for Player and Coach of year. They consulted a combo of 15 SIDs and media members - saying not all of them voted.

I could be mistaken, but I thought that in years past the all-conference teams and coach of the year was showcased in some sort of display right inside the front doors of the arena.

In other words, by the time the tournament starts the winners are decided.
