    Re: Naters Gonna Nate

The Pacers would have had a good shot at beating the Heat if they had a guard who could handle the ball. The Spurs would have won if they didn't have to rely on Manu as a back-up point (wow, he was a turnover machine). A lot of teams need someone who doesn't turn the ball over. Teams might be looking for someone who isn't a turnover machine. It will be interesting.

Might just be another poster on this board.

    Excellent point

He did pick a side. He feels Nate isn't first round material....but he's hearing rumors that say otherwise. Doesn't mean he agrees with the rumors.

I'm not saying you are wrong as I've read that Utah and 1-2 other teams really like him and have late 1st round picks, so it wouldn't surprise me. But I have no reason to believe that he has a promise, at least as of now. If all of a sudden he quits his workouts or only does certain things at his workouts then maybe, but as of now I haven't heard of any of that occurring.

Oh please, unless you know a GM, or have a friend who's a coach in the NBA, don't go there.

Nate getting some love from the NY Post

    http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knick...content=Knicks

And a tweet from a sports writer of theirs Marc Berman @NYPOST_Berman Spoke to a scout about South Dakota State's Nate Wolters. Great floor vision. Nice shooter. Just doesn't have foot speed. Neitherdid Nash.

I almost threw up in my mouth when I saw that people want nate at 210-213. Raymond Felton is 205 and a couple inches shorter but he is still about 15-20lbs too heavy and I do not want a pg on my team over 200 unless they are somebody like lebron. Another comparison is DRose who is 6'3" and 190lbs.

Yeah and no, not many 2nd rounders make a roster spot out of camp, but hardly any un-drafted free agents do as well.

It would be awesome if Nate weight 210 pounds and had better foot speed, to go along with his overall game, the problem is somethings are harder to fix then others. Gaining weight and increasing your foot speed are towards the top, especially if your not going to use steroids in the process.
