TV's chat notes the 51 points SDSU put up in the first half was the most points scored on them in an opening half.
We scored more points on Washington than Duke.

Here's the post-game story on the UW official athletics website:

SEATTLE - Sunday's noon tipoff seemed like it was too early for the Huskies.
South Dakota State's Nate Wolters was definitely too much for them.
Wolters scored 34 points and made 13 of 16 free throws to keep Washington from digging out of a 22-point hole. Tony Wroten's 23 points were not nearly enough for UW to avoid a 92-73 loss before 9,060 stunned people at Alaska Airlines Arena, ending the Huskies' school-record 32-game home winning streak against non-conference opponents.

Link to the full story: http://www.gohuskies.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/121811aaa.html

Love this line from the story (good sports writing tells the story and entertains): "But Chad White then set up for the final shot of the half, pump faked defender C.J. Wilcox nearly into the locker-room tunnel, and swished a wide-open 3."

                  And here's the GoJacks.com story:

SEATTLE - The host Huskies scored less than 10 seconds into Sunday's game, but South Dakota State scored the next nine points and kept their foot on the gas for the rest of the game, as the Jackrabbits stunned Washington with a 92-73 win in front of 9,060 fans at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle, Wash. The Jacks improve to 10-4 with the win, while Washington, who saw it's 32 game non-conference home winning streak snapped, falls to an even 5-5.

                      Re: GDT: U of Washington

My favorite thing comming out of this game is,according to TV's live chat, the press out there gave the Jacks no respect at all, saying the game didn't deserve mentioning and the Huskies schedule "lower tier" (don't know if thats the exact wording used) games and it'll be another boring 20 point win so that they can extend their 32 game winning streak. They got the spread right, but picked the wrong team to win.Time for someone there to eat a little crow it seems......Ha! SDSU has the last laugh!
