Anyone in the SID office that can do the stats for the Miller family in appearances at Frost arena? They can all shoot the ball, can't they?!

                    Re: SW Minn State

I was at Frost for the game...there were a few moments in the second half in which we showed some amazing athletic ability, steals, great passes etc.

Confession time: at the start of this thread, I made an incorrect statement about the last time the two teams met in regular play. I was thinking some recent games were exhibition -- wrong -- others correctly stated the facts. I think I need a new fact checker!

Just before he fouled out, Jordan Miller hit a series of deep threes (I think it was three in quick succession) and for a few moments, I flashed back to the Northern State v SDSU game in Frost when Jordan's cousin (I think I have the relation correct) put on a clinic on shooting threes from all angles.

The way that family seems to play at Frost, I'm beginning to think we need to get anyone of that line of Miller blood to come be a Jack, regardless.

Jordan's younger brother, Jade a senior at Mitchell, just committed to play at DWU.

In the post game Nagy acknowledged the very slow start but praised the team for mostly working through it themselves without him having to yell and scream a lot. He said they made a change to zone defense in the first half that helped, but at halftime the team was adamant about going back to man to man.

The slow start was a consequence of a lack of intensity on the defensive end. When that picked up we started rolling and SWMS was powerless to stop the Jackrabbits.
