Game time is 4:30 Eastern Time...3:30 Central. [The Sam Houston story incorrectly states the game time is 4:30 Central--hope they get that corrected or some of their fans will miss the game. EDITED: CORRECTED THE TIME AFTER NOVAJACK'S POST. ]
In talking about yesterday's win over Niagara, Coach Nagy said "Any win in college basketball is a good win." ** (See GoJacks.com at http://www.gojacks.com/ViewArticle.d...B_OEM_ID=15000 )
I'm predicting we'll smoke Sam Houston today by 20 points.
Sam Houston's season so far
76-42 win over Howard Payne (exhibition)
74-41 loss at Notre Dame
60-38 loss yesterday to Mercer
Go Jacks!

Well, a blowout might be too much to wish for, but I certainly hope so. Unlike the basketball players, I am looking ahead(breaking my own rules there)to Friday and wondering what three games in three days is going to do for wearing out this team before a game against (IMO) a very beatable Nebraska.

The Nebraska game is on Saturday. The Alumni Association is having a pre-game event in Lincoln. Here are the details.
This has to be a game where the Jacks get up big so the bench can get some playing time. Their loss yesterday means that this game should be easier than Wednesday's game. With Dykstra injured, the starters will need more rest than if he was playing. I guess we'll see what happens. I want the win most but a big win so the bench can play 4 guys about 15+ minutes each would be ideal.

Try to have some faith they will be ready. Its not much different then trying to play 3 games in 3 days like the confrence tourny. A few couple days rest and they will be fine.

We are def in a down year to start out... The second most winningest program in Texas as lost its mojo in my opinion... I would be shocked if we win...
