I e-mailed State a while back and ask them about the web site. They had a good response and compared it to NDSU. But it is not very informative, no info. Heck this be good for Mass omm student but we really need to pick it up up there.

              Post game is just starting.
Hokenson led all scorers with 18, Beran had 14, Joe had another double double.  Holdren did not play due to illness, meaning we rotated seven guys.

NDSU won this morning by 5 i believe.

Sounds like Luke picked a fine time to hit his 1st 3 of the game.

Joe Green has really impressed me as of late.  Early on this year he didn't seem to be playing up to his potential and was easily frustrated.  Lately, his been leading us in rebounding and seems to be all over the floor.  Sounds like he's still struggling offensively but that will come around as long as he's still producing in the other aspects of his game.

We play NDSU at 4:45 today.

                  Re: National Independent Tournament

I realize the talent at this tournament is not steller, however it would be nice to win it and then beat Central State and NDSU to finish this difficult season on a positive.

                    Re: National Independent Tournament

This team has really been through the wringer this year. I think it makes a big difference that we're playing "beatable" teams.

Having said that, today's NDSU game is going to be awfully tough to win. Given the results in Brookings, NDSU is going to be very motivated, and our guys will have to respond with a gritty performance to pull it out today.

                      Re: National Independent Tournament

Coach Nagy said that NDSU was probably licking their chops in anticipation of today's game with only 7 men in the rotation.

Is Steve Holdren done for the year? It would be great to have him back today.

I still think Beran and Green are more talented than anyone on this Bison team. What has happened to Loney?

                          Re: National Independent Tournament

Loney vs. Rio Piedras went 3-3 from the field, 2-2 free throws for 8 points and 4 rebounds in 32 minutes. 2 fouls, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 turnover. Not a bad line.

                            Re: National Independent Tournament

I know he is a redshirt freshman but he has not been consistent. I did not think he would be the immediate success that some on this board predicted. I wish he was about 3 inches bigger but if he was he would most likely be at Iowa State or Iowa rather than SDSU!

I don't think Loney will ever develop into a 15 pt 10 reb per game kind of guy. I do however think he has done an above average job this year and have been pleasantly surprised by his play. He will continue to be a role player throughout his remaining years here. Always playing hard, scoring points here and there, grabbing some good boards, hustling and playing solid D against much taller opponents.
