Defending champion California University's women won't be the only ones missing at next week's NCAA Division II Elite Eight in Hot Springs, Ark., from last year.
So will most of last year's group.
There will be only two returnees in No. 4 Seattle Pacific (28-2) and No. 9 Merrimack (28-5).
Two teams were knocked out Monday: host Henderson State by Central Arkansas, 76-61, and Quincy by Grand Valley State, 62-46. . . .
South Dakota State moved up to Division I and posted a 21-7 record. Among the teams the Lady Jackrabbits beat were Kentucky, 57-55, at the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands and Alabama, 86-83, in Tuscaloosa. . . .
Go State! ;D
