The rumors were started in Minnesota with everything going on their. Rumor around the Gophers is that they are getting a "big time" transfer. Well Nate's been playing good is from Minnesota so it has to be him, right? If you were planning on getting a PG transfer would you use your scholarships on JuCo's (not highly touted ones either) and when releasing a player block the school that you want to get the transfer from, from transferring there.Comment

I think you are wrong in thinking that the rumors started anywhere but in North Dakota. There has been a thread on the Gopherhole message board for almost a month concerning the Gophers going after a "big-time" transfer. In the four pages of posts,7 or 8 names are mentioned and Nate is not one of them.Originally posted by joeboo22 View PostComment

The first rumors I had heard started in Minnesota. Before the Bisonville & Gopherhole threads about the subject. Seemed it was one of those rumors about a local kid coming back so to speak. A poster on Bisonville heard it, posted it when Nagy was mentioned at Northern Illinois as it must be fact. And then Lakes got a hold of it and ran with it all over as fact.
Thats just the way I saw it, maybe it was Bison supporters who started it their.Comment
