There is a whole chapter on it, in the book The College on the Hill by Amy Dunkle with V.J. Smith (Great book every SDSU fan should own it). Here is a passage from the book:
The visit, organized by George McGovern and Jim Abourezk, both Democratic senators from South Dakota, brought together a team comprised of five SDSU players, five USD players, coaching staff from both campuses, the SDSU and USD sports informations directors, and Booher , as the trainer. . . .
