That was my guess for it. I am not a fan of Hamilton, hes a good player but one hell of a whiner. If he played as hard as we whines to the refs he would be unstoppable.

Great on the drive but no outside shot, and still was whining when his team was in control. I don't find that impressive.

What? He's made 79 3's on the year at a 38% clip. He has an outside shot.

not in the tourny. I was only impressed with his drive, but that is IMO.

Reggie first game tourney: 8-13 fg 3-4 3's and 4-5 ft in 24 minutes

              2nd game: 7-12 2-4 4-4 25 minutes

              3rd game: 11-20 1-6 3-4 33 minutes

              at Frost: (9 assists) 6-17 3-8 3-4 30 minutes

              at Oakland: (11 assists) 6-13 0-4 2-3 33 minutes

I find it hard to believe that you would have problem with those numbers.

The five that were picked were definitely deserved.

Benson, Hamilton, Morrison were locks. I had a vote and I was going back and forth over whether adding a third OU player and choosing between Wolters or Nobles, or going with just Wolters and Nobles.

It was hard to leave either one off because both had big games in the quarters and semis. If Nobles doesn't come back to get over 20 against ORU, I don't think I could have picked him.

In the end, I had the same ballot as the final team.

Why didn't Young make the team?

He has the skills but not the mental game. I don't think he'll make it at the next level. Doesn't mean he didn't deserve the recognition. He is a great scorer and can defend the ball well, those things alone do not make him a NBA player, however.

I am sure this board will can come up with reasons how Reggie would not even start for us. He is a excellent college player and has a great desire to win. We need a few more guys who look for calls and let the officials know when they may have missed something. Nate does it and nobody mentions that.

I don't know if that's true or not.

As for Hamilton, one of, if not the main reason, he transferred to Oakland was to get the increased exposure associated with playing for a NCAA tourney team. Why? So he could get more looks from those at the next level. I certainly think he is a better prospect than Benson but I'm not a NBA scout. He can score and is a decent passer, defends the ball extremely well. I think there are concerns about is off the ball defense and the intangibles. I think he'll get a shot and he might even make a splash.
