    Summit Tourney Weather

    Weather is not sounding good for Tuesday.Accuweather.com went from a forecast of 1.8 inches of snow last night to 13.5 this morning. Oh,and their advice for Tuesday - "Today will not be a good day for mowing your lawn." Damn, the 6 square feet of ours that you can actually see is starting to look kind of shaggy.

    Tony Barlow on Kelo said this morning that it looks like the storm is going to go south and we probably wouldnt get as much snow as we thought 24 hrs ago. However, being a good meteorologist that he is, he did say that it could always move farther north. Way to save your a$$ Tony.

      www.noaa.gov says 2 inches for Sioux Falls on Tuesday.

        Forecast: I believe truly S#!^^y precipitation followed by standard cr@**y driving conditions. Repeat for the next three weeks.

          Tony comes across in such a dead pan manner, but he is kind of brave and does some of the storm chasing in the summer so we got to give him credit for that. He does have problems dispelling the notion that the weatherman creates the weather. He often takes the blame.

            The downgrade is showing up elsewhere as well. Accuweather has moved down their estimates, and is saying 1.8" of snow tomorrow (Sunday), which is with the NOAA report. Listen, folks, the weather gods don't dare mess with our tournament (well, at least I hope so)!

                That was then, this is now, Mango! I've spoken personally to the weather gods and told them to stay the heck away from this tournament. Glad to see Accuweather say "a little snow" on Monday, and a "bit of snow" on Tuesday. I can handle a "little bit".
