Back on topic, Dale has been sick most of the week and returned to practice just yesterday. Hope he is feeling well enough to continue his excellent play.

I hope I can sneak away from the hospital to listen to each of the games.

You may want to re-read your post to see why he would be defensive. Especially considering who your response was to. As for his assertion... I'm not sure he is the only one who sees the servitude shown by some to the mighty Bizon. I'm sure I'll get in trouble for backing him but that's life.

As for the NDSU game, I agree with TV. Jacks win if it is a blowout (10 or more). Bizon win if the game is tight.

I've heard this argument before from Bison fans, here are some facts:

Overall Records:
SDSU - 32-26
NDSU - 24-32

Conference Records:
SDSU - 20-15
NDSU - 15-20

I know you'll probably pull out the 9-0 thing but this pretty clearly illustrates that Nagy is the better coach night in and night out. Especially when you consider that Nagy had the disastrous transitional issues hanging over his head, and Saul had the head start of a tournament qualifying team.

If I was a Bison fan, I'd be more concerned with my coach's overall quality than in his ability to beat one team. BTW, usually the overall better coach will figure things out over the long run.

I suspect that once SDSU gets over the hurdle, NDSU will struggle mightily to win many in this series, just like they've struggled to win many in the conference since Woody went "pro".

...but wasn't the fab 4 (Woodside, Winkleman, Nelson, Moormann) Miles' recruits. These 4 won a lot of games for Saul.

Saul was on the coaching staff every year they were in campus and obviously played a big role in their development. Not sure you can just remove him from their success.

Nope I respect your opinion, but I'm not a Bizon fan at all if that's what you're saying. If SDSU loses tonight I'll be devastated, but will still know it won't affect the Summit tournament. I like to follow other boards to see what's going on and I guess some people take offense to that. Also, I guess I can see why he'd be defensive, but it still really bothers me that people think that SDSU isn't Div. 1 in football and should be playing Div. 2 teams. To the point where I can't believe people are actually talking about it. But that's not what this thread is about so.....

As for the game, I'm going to take the Jacks by 7-8. I think NDSU will make a late run to put it close but finally the Jacks will hold on and make a few extra free throws in the final minute.

By the way, is there any way we can watch the game on the internet?
