  • NDSU

Is it just me or is anyone else really getting jacked, pardon the pun, for this game.

This game could be the single biggest factor in how we do in the summit tourney. If we get this monkey off our back, the psychology of it would be huge and give this team all the momentum to steam roll the summit tourney.

I hope our guys don't have the "just another game" mentality for this one Friday night.

IT'S TIME...to beat the living snot out of these guys and go into the SL tournament with a ton of momentum!

I've said it once and I'll say it again...take the gold and green jersies off these guys and put them in any other one, and SDSU wins the last 3 matchups. Time to get this Bison off our backs!!

    Go Jacks...Beat the Bison!!
    SDSU...Passionate, Relentless, Champions.

Any sort of rebounding and defensive intensity + knocking down some shots and we'll win this one

Ohh, my favorite, keys to the game, Defend well, rebound and make shots. Im going out on a limb here and say as long as we score more points the the other team, we should win it.

But your right, rebounding killed us last time at Frost. If Sarg can get his shot to rain in, and wolters with another big game and Dkstra kicking but making them pay, we win.

Well the first time we missed open threes and played ridiculously soft and tentative on defense and the defensive glass.

Exactly. The defensive intensity must be high and priority has to be on rebounding. Out team (just like most every other team) is much more intense on the defensive end when our offense is flowing. Our offense flows when we make outside shots. Get after them early, don't allow for any offensive runs by the Bison that will get the crowd into the game and let Nate Wolters lead us to a win.

I hope we drop a 30 Point win on them...
Not saying it's gonna happen, but it would be nice.

IMHO, I would love to see a IPFW style beat-down. It would say to the Bison, and Bison fans that the Jacks are back to our normal beat down play.

We win, no matter the score — about damn time !!!

We win by 10 points — About where I think it should be.

We win by 20 or more. — party.

Ok, here is my break down on Friday's Game.

This is the last big hurdle MENTALLY our guys have to get over. In my mind, it is bigger even than beating Oakland last weekend would have been. We all know Oakland has a great team, we expect battles from them. The Bison, on the other hand, have been in our heads for too long. I would go so far as to say they have been winning with less talented teams. This year, we are by FAR the better team... We NEED this win.

We get this off our back.. watch out in Sioux Falls.. We lose and it is a different mind set where I am not sure how we respond.

This is an insult to all Flys around the world. It would also be an insult to compare "S#$T" to Lakes. An insult to "S#$T" everywhere.

The cheers for Nate will be great for him. Thank Lakes ahead of time for us (if you can get any where near him with his inflated head to go with his ego).
