  • Griff doesn't miss

We have the only D-1 player in the nation without a missed FT - Griffan Callahan - which is really quite remarkable. He is also one of our leading rebounders. You gotta love this kid's lunchbucket qualities.

    Re: Griff doesn't miss

...I wonder if gojacks.com doesn't have this a bit wrong. I find it hard to believe some end of bench players aren't 2-2, 3-3 or something like that on the year. Maybe Griff is the only one not to miss with 10+ attempts...

EDIT: Shockingly, I am onto something. A quick search of several DI teams' stats showed me that there are numerous players without misses that have less than 10 attempts.

Ever since the 1998 Vikings, these types of discussions make me very nervous.

Thanks a lot SF_Rabbit_Fan!!!! I thought I totally erased that missed Gary Anderson field goal from memory until you posted this.

I was at that game and sitting in the endzone right between those uprights! AAARRRGGHH!

Folks here in Boise got to experience something very similar with the Nevada game.
