sdsufans.com called, it wants its post from the last 7 years back.

There is a lot of youth on SDSU's team, and we're 6-0.

NOW WE CAN OFFICIALLY START TALKING ABOUT THE BISON GAME!!!

Wow, is it great to see Jackrabbit Basketaball back in Frost Arena! It should be a whale of a game X 2 Saturday night.

We need a big crowd in there Saturday. They got the Marker, let's get back to dominating in basketball!

Keep following Griffans lead and play relentless ball!!!

      GB, GB, GJ!

I agree. The rivalry and tradition betwee the Jacks and the Gents/Ladies will be difficult to replace.

And so the grudge continues. What is IPFW going to have to do to get back into your good graces?

I'm really surprised you haven't worked this into the name or title or description of the forum in some way or another by now.

Nick's burgers and then the NDSU/SDSU women's and men's basketball games. Does it get any better than that?
When you put on that jersey, the name on the front is more important than the name on the back.

                          Re: Looking ahead to NDSU

Well I have seen two of the SDSU games and the one thing that stands out about this team that I have not seen before is the athleticism of the team is way better than I have seen in years past. I can count the number of dunks I have seen from the Jacks on one hand over the last 5 years. This year I have seen more dunks in one game than I have seen in the last 5 years.

Now I personally think dunks are over rated. In the NBA when a player dunks they celebrate like they just won the game. It is only worth two points, so keep in perspective. However, it does show the swagger of the team and the confidence they exude. This team is confident and it shows by being able to come back when they are behind in a game. They also don't play scared and worry about giving up leads, they just keep building the lead late in the game. Take the Nevada game for instance, we were up by about 10 with 3 minutes to go and within 3 possessions, we had an 18 point lead. That never happened last year.

There are numerous reasons for the improvement of this team but I really like the play of Nate Wolters. I think he has a very calm demeanour and it allows the rest of the team to relax on offense because they know Nate will take care of the ball and make good decisions.

Well I hope it is a whale of a game Saturday night and I hope there is a good turnout for the game.

Sounds exactly like the last time these two teams played in Brookings.
