Personally, a halftime performance buy the SDSU Drumline always gets me geeked up.

Several easy things; makes sure the ticket line moves smoothly, great improvement with the upper level entrance. Make sure there are enough people working the concession stands, have some other options other than the traditional, small concessions (they usually do that as well). Don't have some picnic/banquet set up on one of the ends preventing people from sitting in the bleachers. Try to find something for between games to help pass the long break. The drumline would be fantastic as part of that filler. Make sure the step in and out of Frost are not ice covered and dangerous. Have a free coat check or a very reduced price check so people don't have to sit/stand on their coats/everybody else's coats. Those are just a few things I can think of right now.

Concessions is the big area lacking. Does anybody know why they closed the lower level concessions?

This has been a pet peeve of mine for several years. Snow/ice removal on the sidewalks around Frost has been less than stellar in my opinion.

Good stuff! I knew there would be a few things on your mind. Maybe somebody will read this stuff and take note. Rep points for the response!

Not sure if the school has a smaller sized bus but I think it would be nice to have some sort of a shuttle on really cold nights out to the PAC to pick people up and deliver them back to the lot after the game. That way they could drop their passengers off at the front and catch a ride in the shuttle and come pick up their passengers at the door afterwards. There would need to be some signage signifying if the bus is running on a given night or not.

On a nasty night like tomorrow that might be a nice touch. I'm lucky enough to park in the North lot so no big deal for me. It's the non-season ticket holder that we need to get to Frost Arena and I have had friends in the past say that they aren't going to go due to the cold.

Typically, the Motor Pool isn't afraid to charge a premium for their vehicles so maybe BATA could be used at more reasonable rate.

Friends of mine last year were picked up in the parking lot by a BATA bus/van. Maybe they will be doing it this year too.

That's great! That can be a nasty, cold hike from over there. In Lincoln there are bars that have buses that will take people from the bar to the game and back. Probably good for business. Could work here too I suppose.

                Who's got other ideas?

MOST importantly....have we had our crappers chromed or bronzed for our friends from the North. We all know that they don't approve of our facilities, so what have we done to take care of THEM???

Cashmere toilet seat covers? Bison crap scented urinal cakes? Breaking out the 6 gallon pails?

As long as they know that they don't do their business in the showers like our little sisters from the South, we should be ok, right?

This is our year to take back the balance of power on the hardcourts. Go Big! Go Blue!! Go Jacks!!!

There won't be many Bison fans there, unfortunately. I had been looking forward to making the trip to Brookings for some time, but alas, the FCS playoffs and a trip to Bozeman got in the way. There will be a contingent of us watching from a hotel. Hopefully the the atmosphere is electric. I'd love to see another ending just like that last time these two teams met in Frost. I won't soon forget that game!

Hando - you are absolutely correct. I'm sorry, I honestly thought this was a smack thread.

I submit myself to the mercy of the administrators and will sit through a self imposed 7 day penalty box. (I choose that over a simple $25,000 fine with no suspension.)

I don't think most of us are overlooking Nevada by discussing the NDSU game. For me, I'm anticipating the crowd and a match-up with our rival to the north. Haven't taken the time to look at who NDSU has played or what their record is but I will probably Friday or before the game on Saturday.

                            Here's a rundown...

Lost to Oregon in OT. NDSU just couldn't close and had a 7 point lead in OT.

Beat UCSB, a NCAA tourney team last season that returned all starters.

                            Beat Denver pretty easily.

                            Blew out Mayville State

Kept the game within striking distance (6 pts halfway through the second half) but ended up getting blown out by MN.

Lost to Green Bay by 2 points at GB. The Bison should not have lost this game.

                            Blew out Valley City State.

Michael Tveidt and Eric Carlson are the returning high scorers. Marshall Bjorklund is playing very well as a true freshman starting center. Freddy Coleman is getting back into the swing of things and Drew Lundberg has surprised me with his play at the point. The bench has gone pretty deep with 10+ players seeing action since Coleman returned.

Yes. The team should have won both games. Gotta win the close ones! There's a lot of youth on the team, and I am hoping they'll learn from those two games.
