Callahan comfy with getting rebounds and keeping the ball for extra shots for the team. had to come out and body them up cause they knew they couldn't outjump Nev.
least we know the Jacks can play around trees now.
Awesome Game!!! Student section was in it when it needed to be and was pretty fun for the most part.
Post game interview was Fiegen and he did a great job!
Nagy had positive comments again. He talked about how much fun he is having and how much fun the team was having. He said this is the perfect team for him because they have so much fun playing and don't let his negativity get them down, but they just keep it up. He talked about Jordan Dykstra's confidence and how big of a game he had. Talked about about how they want Fiegen to get his offense going. Also mentioned how great it is to have Nate and Clint struggle and still win by 17. Mentioned that Saturday is not a big game because its NDSU, but it is a big game because its a conference game.
He actually sounds happy this year and like he is having fun. I like it!
Jackrabbits: Long ears, strong hind legs, gritty, relentless, fearless.
A lot of energy by the Jacks players tonight (esp. Griff). I really liked the rebounds he was flying around and grabbing. Dykstra had a very good game. Looks like Carlson hurt his hand pretty good in the first half. Don't think it was an air cast but it was wrapped pretty good on the bench for the second half. Thought the defense was good for most of the game(some lapses but it was still a win). Nice win guys.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--
Was at the game tonight. It was good to see the men prevail against one of the most athletic teams I've seen in Frost. I'm not a basketball expert, but there is something special about the Jacks this year. There are many times when we have 5 underclassmen on the floor, able to score, playing tough D, making plays that you see on TV. Can't wait till Saturday!

Isn't it amazing how Nate "struggled" tonight and we dominated. He still does a great job of taking care of the ball. Didn't see the final numbers but we were under ten turnovers until late in the game. He didn't score as much but even "struggling" he is a big factor.
Griff was a BEAST. Just love how the team is taking a cue from him. Just fun to watch! Dykstra was really strong.
Happy for the players! Really happy for the coaches! Thrilled for the fans!
Nice crowd tonight that was thoroughly entertained!
8 turnovers tonight, I think we are averaging less than 10 per game. That is the key stat along with the rebounding. I questioned our effort on the boards against Southwest (they outboarded us) and so did Coach, seems it was indeed an effort issue you don't have to be taller or more experienced to get a rebound you just have to want to rebound. Even better news, this team responds to criticism by trying harder, not by pouting, refreshing, I'll leave it at that.
Better chemistry this year than we have seen in a while. I think that has more to do with who we have now than who we had then.

We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.
It was great watching this team play tonight. The first half offense from the fifth minute in was unstoppable. These guys play hard. There's something to be said about team chemistry with this group. They are on the "same page".
Let's see how Saturday night goes. You all better be there!

This is what made outrebounding them even more impressive. Those were some tall and long-armed players for Nevada. And for someone Griff's height to want the rebound more than players 2-5" taller than him on Nevada's roster should make people like his hustle even more.

There had to have been a record set tonight at Frost for dunks in a game.
8 dunks tonight and some real nice ones and an ESPN TOP TEN block by Dale Moss, if it would get sent to ESPN.
Dykstra is a stud on defense and Nagy seems to be warming up to the idea of more touches. I have a feeling we are holding some sets for him until conference season this Saturday, and got a taste of it tonight.
It was nice to get back for a game....
On Defense these guys are ball hawks...they want that ball back!
Callahan impressed the heck out of me tonight!
Dykstra is a lot of fun to watch!
It was nice to see emotion in the players: when they did well and when they knew they did poorly. They owned it either way!
Dale is still my favorite player, he just flies around when he's on offense.
Most importantly the Jacks showed they don't need the 3's to all drop for them to win!(Although 30% from 3 pt land isn't all bad)
(Crowd sucked...what can i say. It was quiet)
