Re: Men's Basketball Schedule is released

I'm a little confused. The gojacks.com site where you buy tickets online shows that season tickets for basketball go on sale at 5:00 PM on Friday, September 16??? That's a different date than the article they posted.

Anyone have any info on this?

Re: Men's Basketball Schedule is released

I talked to the ticket office yesterday and she said info on season tickets was going in the mail that day so you should be getting all the info in the next few days if you were a season ticket holder last year.

So if I am going to become a new season ticket holder, should I be purchasing them on-line or waiting for the mailing? This is about as clear as mud to me right now.

I received my letter today. It is to current season ticket holders. I can either order on-line or return the order form they sent me. If you didn't have a season ticket last year, you probably won't get the same letter. You can either order on-line or call the ticket office at 605 688 5422 or 1-800-GO-JACKS.

If this is your first time buying season tickets I would recommend waiting for the mailing and/or giving Christi Williams (Tickets Manager) a call at the ticket office so you can go over how the whole deal works (points system, allocations years, etc.).

I understand the whole points and allocation process, I am just wondering about the discrepancies in the dates that I showed in my original post..........

SD State set for second season in Division I
                  Associated Press

BROOKINGS, S.D. -- Kentucky, Illinois and Marquette are among the storied basketball programs the South Dakota State University men will play in the 2005-2006 season, the Jackrabbits` second in Division I.

The Jacks finished 10-18 in their inaugural Division I campaign.

Ten of the Jacks` games in the new season are against postseason qualifiers from last season.

The regular season starts Nov. 13 when the Jackrabbits play NCAA regional finalist Kentucky in the first round of the Guardians Classic in Lexington, Ky.

It doesn`t get any easier later that week. SDSU plays at national runner-up Illinois on Nov. 18.

SDSU has road games scheduled at Minnesota on Dec. 23, Central Florida on Jan. 18 and Utah State on Jan. 27. The Jackrabbits play NIT qualifier Marquette, also on the road, Dec. 3.

SDSU has 12 home games, including Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Dec. 6, Cal State Fullerton on Nov. 28 and Denver on Dec. 10. The regular season finale is March 5 against Cal State Fullerton on the road.

One of the games, a Dec. 20 contest against Manhattan of New York, is scheduled for Sioux Falls.
