Can anyone confirm the start time?

It would be great if they had a concert before the event - it would bring more folks in.

Don't start it too early, though.  We gotta go to Cubby's!

They can't start too early. The players aren't able to come out and "practice" until Midnight.

The Concert idea does sound good though. The more riled up the fans are the better!

I've heard Midnight Madness will start at 10:00pm this year. Midnight minus 2! Can't wait to see the changes to Frost Arena.

They can't start too early.  The players aren't able to come out and "practice" until Midnight.

The Concert idea does sound good though.  The more riled up the fans are the better!

The NCAA enacted a new rule in april which allows schools to start practice after 7 pm on the Friday nearest Oct. 15th (NCAA rule 17.5.2).

I know that Brookings has a home football game on October 14 so the 10 PM time should be right about the end of that game. (If that is indeed the time.) "Midnight minus Two" would be a great name!

I was at the volleyball game Tuesday night and they were not up. There has been a lot of work on posters and ads throughout the Frost Arena and the entry areas but nothing obvious has been done on the center scoreboards.

I have been told they will be in place for "MIDNIGHT MADNESS." (minus two?) Another good reason to drop in that night.

The new scoreboards @ Frost are going to have video replay right? If so, is that going to be used for all Men's and Women's games, wrestling etc.?

Also it will be nice to showcase Frost during the Girls "AA" basketball tourney.

I think that is part of the deal with Dak. They are going to have the replay available for all the games.

I can't wait to see how it all turns out!

With the vast improvements to Frost it will be the "Best" Basketball venue in the state. I look forward to seeing eventually chairback seating on the upper level of the south side and eventually the entire upper level of the arena. Look forward to seeing increased student attendence at the games.

I was in FROST last weekend, no boards yet but the new signage is spectacular around the upper deck and the corporate sponsorships in the lower deck corners will look great when they are illuminated. The floor looks great. When you add the new boards/displays to the arena it will be one of the elite facilities in all of college basketball.
