I just drove up by the new equestrian center. It looks like the concrete work is underway. BIG building!!! Can't wait until phase II starts!!! Very impressive....

SDSU building home for equestrian team
BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - The future home of South Dakota State University's fledgling equestrian team is under construction in Brookings.
Though currently just some reinforcing bars rising from a concrete slab near the Highway 14 bypass, the giant barn will be about the size of a football field when it's completed, probably by November, officials say.
The center will provide 40 stalls, a training area, tack rooms, wash areas, locker rooms and a feed area for SDSU's equestrian team, which began competing in NCAA Division I in 2005-2006. . . . (read more)
