I caught an interesting interview today on the radio program "Calling All Sports." Track star Jared Vlastuin told interviewer Mike H. that he had not talked to the basketball coach recently about possbily playing a year of basketball after using up his track eligibility. However, he had spoken to the golf coach and is considering the possibility of playing golf for a year. Vlastuin is a heck of an athlete whose skills apparently include hitting a little white ball a long way. In a driving contest, he hit a golf ball 368 yards, he said, but his putting needs work.
