We've checked in at No. 9 in The Sports Network's poll this week. I can't say that the poll has been released yet, but when I click on the scoreboard, we are listed ninth.

Re: Oct. 26 polls
#9 is correct and the Jacks are also #9 in the coaches poll.
Initial thought is, man we're getting a raw deal. But, look at the polls and the teams 1 thru 10. Appy St. is the only two loss team in the top 10 and their resume from the past gives them some position, even if they deserve it or not. The other teams in the top 10 are legitimate very good teams. It's going to take something really impressive to jump these teams if they don't lose.
#9 is legit. Go to 7-1 and then 8-1 and then if we don't see a top 5, we can throw out the respect card.

Re: Oct. 26 polls
The only team in the top 10 who has a tough game this coming week is #2 Montana who plays at home vs. #14 Weber St.
The other games should all be victories. The only other "tough" matchup is #7 App St vs. Furman (4-3).
