This site has Batten going in the 4th round.

I compared Batten to former Buck Buchanan winner, Cal Poly LB/DE Chris Gocong on one of Terry V's blog and he said that the SDSU coaches felt the same way. (The coaches actually thought Batten was better)

He should fit as a rush-linebacker on a 3-4 team. I looked up which NFL teams run the 3-4 and it seems like more teams are using it than they used to.

Batten is possibly the most underrated defensive player in this draft. While teams still consider him a mid rounder, he has lots of Mike Vrabel-like ability and would probably have more success in the NFL as a strong-side linebacker. With the 3-4 becoming the rage, he is in the right place at the right time to be noticed. A banner week at East-West Game practices will certainly enhance his draft stock.

Found this journal from Danny. States he didn't get a combine invite. That is shocking to me. I would have thought he definately would have received an invite. He was invited to the Texas vs. the Nation all star game is on the wait list for the East-West Shrine game. Hopefully there will be more to come as it is listed as Journa- Week1.
