Re: Riefenrath Cleared to play.
This is definately good news. Considering Kyle Harris' solid performance last Saturday, do we have the makings of a kicker controversy?
If so, that would be a first. We're used to hearing the term quarterback controversy, but not so much with the kickers normally. The Zen philosopher Basha once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.'

Re: Riefenrath Cleared to play.
Remember that Pete was a pre-season all MVFC pick. And last year, he was the second-team all-conference PK and had arguably better stats than the guy who was first team. He's pretty accurate inside of 45 yards.
Last season, Pete had three games with 3 FBs, including three 40+ yard FGs against NDSU that were pretty clutch. So he's no slouch. The coaches tell me Pete has worked as hard as anybody and has improved more than most during his time here.
There's a thread on anygivensaturday.com that's titled "Does anyone have a good kicker?"
We've got two.Holy nutmeg!

What it does mean is that as JJ says, we have two good kickers, and both can serve as backup for the other's speciality. That is a VERY good thing! Glad to have you back, Peter!
