    Re: 2010 Football Recruiting List

This has gotten a tad ridiculous in regards to Trevor. He is a great kid who really liked NDSU, not just the football program, but everything. I know his dad, and he told me they have no idea how the rumors of him backing out of NDSU got started, but they have a life of their own on message boards. His family helped him make the decision that was best for HIM, which is what good parents/family should do.

Could things change? Yes. President Chicoine could decide he wants to retire because of reasons unknown at this time. Both are worth the same amount of speculation.

(BTW, this was an absurd example, there is nothing connecting the two)

When a student-athlete makes a decision, you just have to wish him or her the best. Trevor Gebhart felt like NDSU was a good fit for him, and I wish him the best.

I didn't say he wouldn't see the field.. It was stated that he MAY not see the field.. nothing against Gebhart-sounds like a quality kid but evidently not what the Jacks wanted.. Every team has different wants/needs which is why this is always so interesting.

yea, Ok, thats funny stuff, sounds like sour grapes.plus didnt your new QB recruit only have 1 offer (SDSU?) dont start acting like other schools fan's thinking you are all that. fyi.

Looks like SDSU has extended an offer to Chistian Dudzik. A 5'11" 180lb Athlete out of Omaha, Nebraska. I would imagine that they are looking at him as either a running back or a cornerback in a the Cole Brodie type role.

his ESPN profile lists him as a 2 star QB prospect who is considering, Nebraska, Tulsa, & Air Force

When I went to the ESPN link, they have a commercial of Adam Vinatieri in the Snickers ad. If the kid picked SDSU, he could have his own commercial. Maybe???

Trevor is a stud. He most certainly would have seen the field at SDSU. Washington didn't run an offense that would lead to lots of receptions. Had he gone to school in Brandon, we would be salivating over him. Having said that, the coaches have done a good job recruiting so they must know something we don't. I'll defer to their judgement.

SDSU didn't even offer Trevor Gebhart. I am pretty sure it isn't sour grapes. That doesn't mean State wouldn't have offered him, he is a good player, but Coach Stig does things differently than a lot of coaches.

We don't need any other schools to offer Austin to know that he is a huge pickup. Have you seen the kid play? Exactly.

By saying "don't start acting like other school's fans and thinking you are all that" are you referring to a certain 3-8 program on the frozen tundra in ND? Just sayin'. Four in row after Nov. 16, 2010, here we come!

Agreed, though CC could be a little more rational in his response
