I am looking for a 2010 football schedule and have not been able to find what we have so far. As I understand it, the schedule is not complete but do we have any idea what it looks like? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Can we say our out of conference might be tougher next year than this year? Delaware and Nebraska. Not to shabby there. In 2011, NDSU on September 3, 2011, don't like that, always like waiting to play them late in the season, but thats up to the conference. Taking on Ron Zook and Illinois should be interesting. While I haven't really heard of Southern Louisiana State, which could be good or bad.

Delaware has been a REALLY up/down team. One year, they're playing for the National Championship, next year they're 3-8. In part that's due to the CAA, and their rotation between the southern/northern parts of the conference. Nebraska has a ways to go to be back into the upper tier of the Big 12. SELA is typically the lower half of the Southland. SELA just started football about 6-7 years ago (or brought back after eliminating earlier), so they don't have the reputation of McNeese, but the play for that same title. Think Mo St in the Gateway, or SUU in the Great West.

Cal Poly and Ga Southern are both well respected, and usually powerful football teams. These will be quality games which will sit better with the selection committee than games vs NEC, Pioneer, OVC, Patriot, SWAC or MEAC teams.

              Re: ISO: 2010-2011 Football Schedule

2011 is the start of the 20 teams play-offs, so get cut off a week early? Or by moving the championship game into between the Jan 1 bowl games and the BCS title game, were the current start after Thanksgiving still holds?

I know that originally Dakota Marker game was set for last game of season in 2011, then moved to 9/3 as only open date to both schools. (Now back into Oct.)

                Re: ISO: 2010-2011 Football Schedule

Why do we not have a bye week in any of the schedules listed? It seems like most teams do, and we have in the past. I know this year our bye or open week is actually week one, which I wouldn't think is real favorable to our team. That extra week mid way through the season would seem to be very important to a team that is trying to get players healthy and rested for a stretch run.

Does it have to do with the expanded playoffs and not having the time/room to schedule one. Can we play games before the first week of September?

Am I reading the 2011 schedule correctly? We have UNI at home on Oct 15 which is probably the opening day of hunting season. I really hope not!

Opening weekend is always the 3rd Saturday in October so the 15 th would be the opener. Again, I'll make time to attend for a team like UNI. I think if they have to schedule something that weekend it should either be a road game (preferred) or a rivarly game at home. I'll be at CAS for NDSU this year and UNI next year.
