15,234. I was kind of surprise we didn't hit that number at the Beef Bowl this years against WIU. It looked like more than the announced attendance, but I've fooled on that for two years now.

Couple of thoughts on the crowd for Hobo Day and why we will have 16,000 +.

1. Weather forecast: 72 degrees and sunny

2. The exciting win last week at SFA will add 500 + fans.

3. I believe the beef bowl numbers would have been higher if the Sioux Falls schools (Dakota Bowl?) which drew 15,000 would have been a different weekend.

4. The Jacks are pretty good and we have an excellent team coming to town.

5. My goodness people its HOBO DAY. 16,350 plus the one kid from Alaska.

We should all know weather guys can't predict 5 days out, they're lucky to get the next day right lately. Let's cross our fingers for that 70 degrees and sun. Should be between 15k and 16k if no rain. Let's go 15,111.

Not sure what it means as far as numbers, but I'm told the middle three reserved sections on the east side are sold out. The west side has been sold out for some time. With Hobo Day being a big walkup day, I'm thinking it's going to be a very large crowd.
