RB Kyle Minett, South Dakota State, So., 5-10, 205, Rutherton (Minn.) R-T-R High
 Minett rushed a career-high 33 times for 103 yards and three second-half touchdowns, including the game-winning 1-yard TD on the final play of the game, to lift South Dakota State to a 50-48 come-from-behind victory at Stephen F. Austin (Texas) Saturday night. Minett scored on runs of 5, 1 and 1 yards and also caught seven passes for 92 yards as SDSU rallied from a 34-6 third-quarter deficit. The rally from 28 points down marked the largest comeback in the league’s 24-year history.

Overdue and well deserved. Jacks should have had one other MV player of the week by now in the two conference wins, especially Youngstown (Berry or the D).
