Yeah after I posted I thought about that. seems like some decent adjustments were made at half. Most being throwing to the right colored jerseys.
Really, with the mistakes as they are this game could very easily be 17-13 Jacks. Its unfortunate but this is what the team has to take away from this.

I know speed kills but you just can't play off so far they have automatic 5-10 yard completions. No excuse someone that open in the red zone. Let the athletes beat you not poor play calling.
Again, stared down his receiver. I would be interested to sit through the film sessions and see how many times he has gone past the first option tonight. I also don't like that play call. 3rd and 2, run it. Our O-line is not winning the battle up front, but we are averaging more than 2 a carry.
They are allowing ISU to play 11 men in the box right now because nothing is going longer than 2 yards. Not great play calling at this point.

I was hoping for a better showing, but I think what one of the ISU fans posted here in another thread comes to mind.
ISUal wrote the below: I quote
Not to flame, but I've noticed you guys seem very confidet about tomorrow night. Do you actually think you'll win, or are you just optimistic? I'm sure everyone is really excited, but do you honestly think you have a good shot at victory? This game scares me, but only because we have had this tendency to really take opponents from lower conferences/divisions lightly, and really stub our toe. I know you guys played a good game against UNI and have some quality players, but I really feel that Chizik has gotten us past games like the Kent St and UNI games last year. Losing to you would be a huge blow to where our program seems to be headed, and I just don't see it happening. Bottom line is we need this win worse than you do, and I hope we respond.
In other words, ISU could not afford another poor showing and our guys have to deal with that kind of motivation from our opponent. I would not be too quick to hang all the bad plays and interceptions on Berry. The game films might show some other mistakes by the fat guys and others in execution. First game mistakes can not be blamed on one player me thinks. We have 11 guys on the field, each has a role to play. SDSU still gets the check. So that has to be a positive
