Just a reminder to submit your predictions by Tuesday noon if you have not done so. I hope to post everyone's predictions not later than noon Wednesday so people can see them before heading to Ames. I have received 29 so far and there are 5 of you who indicated earlier that you planned to participate that haven't submitted. Anyone else is also welcome to participate. With the large number of participants and several games that at least appear to probably be one sided, we will undoubtedly need to use the tie breaker this week and perhaps the earliest submission among those tied to pick a winner. Next week we will have more "close calls" to make but there are still several out of division games so I may add a couple more games to try to prevent as many ties. I will get that list out after the first of the games this week have been played, perhaps on Friday.

Wow no wins over FBS for the MVFC! of all the games SDSU has the best shot IMO

unless BYU really lays an EGG, but you have to admit a UNI win would do the most for credibility to the conference. Good luck at ISU i'll be checking the scores!

Thanks for all of the submissions. When I did this three years ago, we started with 12 predictors. This year there are 36. A clear sign of the growth of the board and of the interest in SDSU athletics. If I made any errors in recording your predictions, or if you didn't get your picks in before I posted this, just send me a personal message and I will update this posting. Good luck to everyone on making accurate predictions unless like me you picked ISU!!!!

Here is the compilation of the predictions for week one. The closest call was for the San Diego State-Cal Poly game with 19 people picking San Diego State to 17 for Cal Poly. The next closest was 21 picking ISU versus 15 picking the Jacks. 5 people picked UNI over BYU, 1 picked Illinois state and Inidana State in their games with Marshall and E. Michigan respectively. OSU, Ark and NDSU were unanimous picks. The average number of FCS wins in the tie breaker was 3.
