2007 FCS Attendance figures

Here is the list of average attendance in FCS this past year. Neither SDSU or NDSU was listed, but guess what....we will be next year!! Someone with a little time to research want to let us know where SDSU and NDSU would've finished if we were elligible??

We are listed at the bottom with the reclassifying/provisional teams.

NDSU had an average attendance of 18,141 (90707 total) and SDSU had average of 11,218 (67309 total).

The rankings are listed by total attendance, NDSU would have been 11th and SDSU 21st in total attendance.

Ranking 21st out of 139 teams is quite an accomplishment, given our football background (i.e. no conference championship for 43 years), our transitional status, the size of our community, and the travel required to draw from our marketing circle! I know that from the funding requirements we need to do better (16,000 probably the target we need to shoot for...and that won't be easy), but we've come a long ways baby!!!

2007 average game attendance:

Louisiana-Lafayette - 16,651
Louisiana-Monroe - 16,651

It's one thing for it to happen to, say, for example, Buffalo and Rice, but the two rival Louisiana schools in the same conference?? Weird.

That is weird. Almost suspicious. Wonder which of those Louisiana schools filed first.
