For big games does he dress up and wear shirts with sleeves?

I think we can relax a little. Those red and blue shirts appear to be carrying the San Diego State University and University of San Diego color schemes. The Aztecs and the Toreros. I guess we'll just have to strive to make the Jacks the better known SDSU. Maybe the Corn copied Aztec red.

Personally, I think the guy is underestimating the effect that Suh had, but I guess we'll see for ourselves in just over a MONTH!!!!!!

            1. Jared Crick, DT, Nebraska

Nebraska's Jared Crick had 12.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks last season. This season, he'll take on the endless double teams his position-mate Ndamukong Suh saw for all of 2009. He announced his presence loudly with a five-sack day against Baylor last season, but nobody thinks "the other guy on Nebraska's D-line" when they see Crick's name anymore. He's got good speed for his size (6-foot-6, 285 pounds) and will look to improve on his 12.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a junior.

            9. Pierre Allen, DE, Nebraska

Nebraska fans and coaches don't see a defensive dip in the team's future, and Allen is a big reason why. One of the new leaders of a defense that lost four starters from last year's team, Allen will get a chance to showcase his talents outside two good tackles once again in Jared Crick and Baker Steinkuhler. He'll be a third-year starter as a senior and by now, has seen about everything Big 12 offensive lines have to offer.

They also have the number one pro prospect at cornerback and number three overall in Prince Amukamara...according to ESPN's draft tracker.

Suh did have a tremendous impact on the defense last year ......but Pellini is close to being unparalleled in his ability to not only motivate but also develop players.

Here is a quick run down of Pellini as a DC and a head coach.

2003 - DC at Nebraska....finished 6th in scoring defense....the following year after he left they finished 74th

2004 - DC at Oklahoma....finished 6th in scoring defense....the following year after he left they finished 49th

2005-2007 - DC at LSU....his 3 teams finished 5th, 2nd and 3rd in yards allowed....the following year after he left they finished 36th

2008-2009 - Head coach at Nebraska....the defense finished 2007 at 105th nationally in scoring defense the year before he arrived.....within 2 years it was 2nd in the nation

I have a ton of respect for what Pellini brings as a defensive mind. If he thinks it is his best defense that is pretty scary given his track record. The best thing SDSU has going for itself is that we are the game before the Big XII conference starts.....therefore Nebraska's gameplans will be very generic.

And an advantage for SDSU if true. Kind of. It means SDSU *might* be able to out-think the Huskers because the Huskers will be playing with a hand figuratively tied behind their back. You'd think Nebraska would avoid putting their best new blitz packages on film before the conference season starts.

How long can it go until they decide a game time? Excuses are enough at this point, as their comedian football fan says, get er done. People have to make travel accomidations and its nice to know when to travel depending on the game time. Unless its been posted elsewhere I have not noticed it.

It all depends on how well they're winning. If it looks like SDSU could pull off the upset, they'll reveal as much as it takes to keep that from happening.

Some commentary on the game. Most Husker fans I know fully expect this to be a PPV game. That mean 11:30 or 6 pm based on precedent. I know that doesn't help much for travel plans.

Pretty sure Stig and Co. would be fine with that scenario.

Nebraska rarely blitzes though. Pelini's defensive lines generally generate a lot of pressure on their own that they rarely need to blitz.

Does anyone know exactly how the front row seating at Memorial Stadium works?

Looking on Stubhub for some better tickets and there are both row 1 tickets and row A tickets.

I'm assuming the row A tickets are the closer ones, since some of the descriptions say 'actual front row'. Not really sure though....Thanks for the help!

First four rows are A B C D and than goes Row 1-forever.
