The visitors section is typically section 21 with some overflow into 19 and 20. You will be sitting right above where your team will enter the field.

Looking at the picture below, the small section of purple in the corner is the official visitor's section.

Thanks for the visuals Alum-Ni...easy to spot the visitors in Section 21 of the picture, as it is the only section not totally red (as I recall from my one and only former Nebraska game).

I'm happy to have attended SDSU, and I like being able to park in the same zip code as the venue I'm visiting.

        But that looks pretty cool.

What will contrast better with the sea of red...blue or yellow? I'm thinking blue.

Hey guys, kinna went through this thread and thought I would respond. Count me as one of the Husker fans who is kinna excited to play you. Why not help out a regional school with some exposure. Ive never met a South Dakotan I didnt like.

I hope you all have a terrific time down here. Lincoln is just an absolute blast on gameday. Like earlier posters have said, make sure you hit the Sidetrack either the night before or the day of. The loading dock of Embassy Suites also puts on a pretty good gameday party with a live band and big ol 32oz beers. If you go walking around the tailgates youll most likely be offered more food and booze than you can handle.

Looking forward to seeing how many rabbits make it down here.
Safe travels to all. GO BIG RED!

Still no game time that I am aware of.

I have acquired 6 passes to a special event at the empyrean brewing company the day of the game. Each pass permits 2 people access to a tailgate party. Free beverages, free food, free entertainment beginning 3 hours before the game and ending at kickoff. The event will be held right at the brewery which is 3 blocks from the stadium. I don't know how many I'll use but would entertain inquiries. Depending upon interest I planned just to meet people in Lincoln and hand a couple of them out. If you or someone you know really wants to attend this event just PM me and we can work something out.

I would think/hope they would have the time established in the next week or so. Does anyone know of a timetable for a decision?

There's a protocol among the TV networks aligned with the Big XII (ESPN/ABC/FOX) for choosing games. I think ABC has as long as up to a week or two before the game to pick up or pass on a game. Assuming none of the networks picks up the game, then NU has to decide whether or not to offer it pay per view. I think those games are either at 11:30 a.m. or 6 p.m. If they decide not to offer it PPV, the game likely would be at 1 p.m. Considering that interest in Husker football is sky high again, and that NU makes a pretty good chunk of cash on successful PPV events, I wouldn't be surprised if they offer it PPV (They're already offering the W. Kentucky and Idaho games PPV.). But they have to wait to see how the rest of the Big XII TV schedule shakes out that weekend and then when PPV will fit in before determining when the game will be played.

Bottom line: It still could be awhile before gametime is set, or it could be set tomorrow.

There are worse places to spend Friday night before Gameday than downtown Lincoln.

My brother in Omaha is a Nebraska grad and I am an SDSU grad and we are going to the Sept 25 game together. I want to buy an SDSU shirt or jacket. Does anyone know what color the SDSU fans will be wearing to that game? And is there a more complete inventory of SDSU clothes than the bookstore on line? It does not offer much.

Any help is appreciated. I'm new to the forum.

Not much discussion, about that, but Blue seemed to be the predominant color at U of M.
I haven't been online. They have a great selection at the bookstore, not sure why it wouldn't be online. Scheel's carries a lot of stuff. Check their website out.

I think yellow or blue will be okay...anything but red! Personally, likely to wear blue.
