No. Unless you want them to sit in a reserved seat then yes.

BTW, all children kindergarten and older need to be Junior Jacks, that means free admission to all regular season events, birthday cards, and a free meal at Cubby's as well as other "perks". Well worth the low price.

If you are talking about the game in Lincoln, yes a 4 yr old would require their own ticket.

Not sure if anyone has posted it but WNAX filled the first 2 buses quickly. Due to high demand they have arranged for a 3rd bus.

Call WNAX or Steve Crawford directly (I have his number is you want it) and get a seat on the bus and a ticket to the game.

As crowded as it gets in Lincoln, it would be nice to have a few more 4 year old keesters in the seats.

Have they set the game time yet? If not, do we have an idea of when they will? My hotel plans are up in the air until the game time is set.

I haven't heard anything from any reliable source accept that it is TBD still.

Here is a link to the alumni site, I would think they will have the time as soon as it is announce. You'll notice that the parade is Friday evening.

Where are the jackrabbit tickets alotted at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln? Is it going to be way up like it was for the gophers? If so I think I will try and get better ones on ebay or something.

Should be in the southwest corner. Some will be in west stadium, which I think are 10-yd line through the endzone. The bulk will be above in the south stadium. I've sat in both spots several times. Either location is pretty good. West stadium is nice - as long as you're up high enough - because you can walk down behind the bench. If we bring a pep band, they'll be in the first few rows of our west stadium seats.

There really aren't any bad seats, except for being too low in east or west stadium or too high in north or south stadium. Nice, big Daktronics replay boards viewable from any seat.

In the category of "Boy, I need something better to do at 11:30 at night...."

Decided to take a look at a Nebraska Fan Message Board and noted a thread titled something like "rank this season's games". As expected, SDSU was ranked at the bottom by many of the fans posting -- but not all. I didn't count but a rough guestimate suggests about 40% of the posters did not rank SDSU as the easiest opponent for Nebraska. Many ranked Western Kentucky behind us and many ranked WKU and Idaho below us. One wag had us one up from the bottom and placed Colorado as the easiest opponent. Another guy made a sideways compliment about the "northern boys are ice-road trucker's kids and they're tough but when the alcohol wears off,..." Obviously no knowledge of where our players come from but pretty funny humor.

A few made comments but it's clear the fans know little about the Jacks. Some knew we're a recent FBS addition. One fan commented we're a good team but the scholarship differential will permit Pelini to give a lot of young guys some experience. I didn't read the entire thread but no one was outright disrespectful.

Well, have to get back to focusing on one game-at-a-time. First we show Delaware their home-field is not alway an advantage.

A local sports talk show in Kearney, NE ranked the Husker games back in late June and the hosts gave nice respect to the Jacks. They, along with many callers, viewed the WKU game as the easiest with the Jacks being slightly more difficult than Idaho. That surprised me a little as the big reason some supported Idaho was their win over Bowling Green in the Humanitarian Bowl last year and that a North Platte kid is the returning QB for the Vandals. Despite that bias, they respect what we accomplished against the Gophers and that we should have knocked off Montana in the playoffs. All that said, they still view all three of these games as soft.

A word of caution for anyone getting tickets through stubhub, ebay or whatever. Do not go any higher than row 37 in west or east stadium (lower deck). You'll be underneath the over-hangs of the upper deck and won't be able to see jack squat. You'll see some of these tickets available on broker sites for cheaper prices and think you're getting a steal by being in the lower deck of east or west side....but trust me, don't get them.
