Koenig has a 1000-yard season, something that would have been hard to see a month ago (He had 399 yards rushing after six games).

I know this is a bad way to think about how things could go down (given the inconsistency in college football these days between games), but . . . .

UCA over Texas State 63-21
SDSU over Texas State 38-3

. . . definitely says that this could be a very close game.

I would agree. This game made me a little nervous as well. I would say the game was closer that the score showed. We had a couple of big swings turning TOs into points. On the other hand, we missed some opportunities as well.

I figured we would win, but we would sweating until the latter part of the fourth quarter.....this one was really over after the third quarter.

From talking to people associated with the program, I was confident. They felt like they had them figured out and the way we're playing now, I think we are pretty tough to beat.

Their QB's TO's made some difference... But I don't think it was 28 points worth. Our D-Line played like studs tonight (Not that they don't always play like that...). O-line made some big holes, Koenig ran like a mad man. Berry played well (with the exception of the one INT, which wasn't completely his fault). We need to not have a let down next week against Southern Utah, and then be ready to rock and roll with NDSU for the conference championship (plus the marker).

And how could I forgot... Tyler Koch! What a game...

Agreed, it almost seemed like we were taking it easy on them trying to develop a few things for late in the year. When Stig finally cut them loose UCA had absolutely no chance. Great performance on both sides of the ball, special teams, and even the equipment staff. Proud to be a Jackrabbit!!!

Same to you. All UCA has to do to get over this is beat SFA (piece of cake) and then beat McNeese. A SLC championship in year two of transition would be quite a coup. Good luck to the Bears.
