Did I mention the beer brats. Even when there isn't a game, I'll tailgate in the kitchen if I have to. Now I gotta find the OK-Mizz game.

Great game by Poly today....Our defense will have to step it up. We need pressure on the QB and tight coverage on Ramses. Looking forward to an excellent game

          Go Jacks !!!!!!

I am honestly more worried playing the Jacks on the road than playing NDSU at home. Should be a great game Saturday.

We'll take the win at home as long as you promise to defeat the Bison at your place!!!

Wow, what a score. Its really got my curiosity. Was the 8.1 per rush for just the UCD game? If you have put up this many yards every game, you would think the Cal Poly record is much better than it is. I guess I need to look at the offical site and see what has gone on so far for the Mustangs

The 8.1 per rush was against UC Davis. Cal Poly is averaging 5.2 yards per rush on the season and 262 yards rushing per game. Cal Poly is averaging 39.7 points a game this year and 492.8 yards of offense a game.

Cal Poly's two losses were to Texas State and Idaho. Cal Poly went into Texas State with 6 new starters on defense and gave up 38 points. Cal Poly was facing a Texas State team on the road with no game tapes of their offense and defense. Texas State also had Cal Poly's 2006 LB coach on their staff to help Texas State prepare since spring to play Cal Poly. I do not think that Texas State would beat Cal Poly now. In fact I think Cal Poly would roll them.

Against Idaho Cal Poly fumbled the ball 7 times giving up 4. 13 of Idaho's 20 points were set up by Cal Poly fumbles and the fourth fumble was when Cal Poly was inside the 10 yard line about to score. Cal Poly also srewed up the snap on a short FG costing them 3 points. Cal Poly lost that game 20-13.

Saturday also was the first game that Cal Poly has had their two starting RB somewhat healthly. James Noble ran for 94 yards and 2 TDs on 11 carries and Ryan Mole had 92 yards and a TD on 7 carries and 3 receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown.

I expect the yards will be hard to come by this weekend for Cal Poly against a very tough and physical Jacks defense. Brookings is a tough place to win. Cal Poly needs this win badly if they want to make the playoffs. I think this will be a great game.

Looks like another great game brewing in Brookings this weekend.

Agreed, should be interesting. Hope the rain stops Thursday like they are predicting, fields could be pretty muddy if it keeps up. Don't know if I'll make it from the hunt and associated fesitivities to the game Saturday night. It will be up to out-of-town guests. If I'm not there in person I'll be listening via WNAX. I hope Saturday is as nice as they are predicting.

I believe they're at home against Marshall.
