Erickson named to Sports Network All-America First Team


South Dakota State University offensive lineman Mitch Erickson continued to add to his preseason accolades by being named to the Sports Network Preseason FCS All-America Team.
A 6-foot-6, 280-pound senior from Hutchinson, Minn., Erickson was a first-team selection at guard. Earlier this summer he was a second-team honoree on the College Sporting News Preseason All-America squad. . . . (read more)

Big Mitch deserves all the credit in the world, he is a very hard worker and hopefully is playing at the next level next year. I think he was overshadowed in high school by another OL Lydon Murtha, who now starts for Nebraska. Murtha got all the ink and is different kind of person. Mitch is a very quiet, personable man. We can be proud to say Mitch is a Jackrabbit
