  • ?? Info on tickets for NDSU Semi-final on 21 Dec?

Has anyone received any communication from SDSU ticket office about the SDSU allotment of tickets for the NDSU semi-final game in Fargo, 12/21/24?

The NDSU official website indicates available tickets will go on sale at 7:00 pm today (Sunday, 12/15/25).

    From Go..Bison.com website:

Tickets for the semifinal playoff game will go on sale on Sunday, December 15th at GoBison.com/tickets. Season ticket holders will also have until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th to purchase their same seats for the game. Any season tickets not purchased by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17th will go on sale to the general public beginning at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18th.

    About 80 seats left.
One hand points to campus...the other to the liquor store.

I picked up two (not great) seats at about the time ringthebells posted. I checked the NDSU tickets site at about 10:30 pm and it looked like all sections were sold out except for the northern-most section on the east side which the seat chart showed had a couple available. Looks like virtually a capacity crowd. I suppose the student section actual number can't be determined right now. And, the visitor's section (northern-most section on the west side) could have some open seats -- I'm guessing that a certain number of tickets are set aside for the visiting school. If they aren't taken in a couple days, they'll be opened up for sale to the general public. But, all indicators point to a stading-room only crowd. .

Seat Geek can be linked from the "tickets" page on GoBison.com. There are tickets available through Seat Geek and its pretty clear people are speculating on those tickets based on the prices offered; but, I saw some prices that, while steep, would probably be workable if one really wanted to go to the game.

Some tickets may be available this week that were not claimed by season ticket holders. I can't remember if it is Tuesday at 8:00 am or Wednesday at 8:00 am. I am guessing there won't be many that don't get claimed, but they would probably be the better seats.

This will be my first time in Fargo. Anybody have any suggestions for things to do before or after the game?

Check out the tailgate scene. Wear your Jacks gear. You will find a friendly and generous crowd. Be ready for good natured ribbing, but otherwise you will be welcomed. My last trip there I had trouble getting to a NDSU friend's tailgate because people I had never met kept wanting to pull me in and give me a drink.

Yes, Wednesday AM any not claimed by Bison season ticket holders will be available online. I tried to find the page I read again but I could not find it so don't know the time for sure. Might very well be 8 am.

JackJD already posted it above. 8 am Wednesday morning it is. I will take a peak but based on the ticket sales yesterday I expect very few will go unclaimed by season ticket holders.

I am fully prepared to make a home party out of it and enjoy the game on ABC TV.
