Haven't hated a half this much since the 2nd half of the 'cats game
There were lots of complaints about the first half of the Villanova game as I recall, particularly about offensive playcalling and especially offensive execution. Let's see what the adjustments are to start the 3rd quarter.
Montana going no huddle all the time makes for getting good defensive reads by the defense all the more important, no coaching input (am I thinking that right?)
Started out well but played on our heels the rest of the half. A couple adjustments hopefully will do the trick.
The turnovers were deflating, as was Gronowski's grounding. That punt touch was just terrible luck on the position of Brenner running back for blocking. The punt was way short, and the Jacks would have had excellent field position after an excellent defensive series.
They haven't covered the Janke's all that well, that's encouraging if we can give Mark a few extra seconds in the pocket, should get something there, and hoping the run game develops better, a little more quick openers, maybe hit a good hole for a TD if we catch them out of position. I'm sure the coaches are brain storming many new options for the 2nd half.

I'd like to see more screens to Davis and Johnson, if for no other reason than to build back confidence
