It's not a real cowbell unless it's at least 7 inches.

Looking forward to a great game. Win or lose, we are playing with house money and this season is a great success regardless of what happens. We were picked 11th in the CAA this preseason (15 teams).

Many of us wanted the coach fired for the past 5 years but this team is making believers out of many, me included. Just hoping for great game that's close like last night. Glad we don't have to play at 10pm again...I went to bed at 2:30am last night .

Good to have an opposing fan here. Welcome to the board! Hopefully you are treated better here than our team treats yours on Friday night!

SDSU is scoring 36.8 ppg giving up 10.5 against a schedule that went 99-57 this season. UA is scoring 30.4 and giving up 17.2 against a schedule that went 78-83.

I'm thinking 23 1/2 favorite may be a bit high. No comment on the NDSU line.

This should be a fun game and a rare opportunity to play under the lights on a decent winter night. Albany looks big and tough, overall. I wasn't surprised that they beat Idaho. Like the Jacks, Albany doesn't appear to have significant weaknesses. The Jacks' pass defense, especially, is likely to get tested. I like the Jacks' chances to move the ball, though. It's a great semifinal matchup.

I'd be curious how much it would've cost for the team and staff to stay in the hotel and prep meals for a week, add a chartered flight stop to Sioux Falls (or set up alternate travel for whomever needed to return to Albany by Monday), and set up practices at Augustana or elsewhere in Sioux Empire.

Not a lot of recovery time or install time. I think Albany will be a tougher matchup than Idaho, but those legs will be getting pretty heavy in the 2nd half. Short week and lots of travel.

Unless they're staying in Pierre/Ft. Pierre/Blunt/Onida, the Danes are back in NY.

I never saw/read about Gattuso indicating they were heading directly to SD. I'm guessing the postgame interview where he mentioned "getting up early and flying to South Dakota State" (3:45:20) were misunderstood

There were two Gattuso "moments" in the Idaho game that impressed me. The first was when he dressed up as Poffenbarger for Halloween (seemingly showing he has some personality), and the second was when sideline video appeared to show him express frustration that Woddell scored the final TD instead of downing it so Albany could kill the clock.
