Interesting to me that Dan has recently started following a few of our old commits on twitter. Wonder if he is trying to win them back, or just staying in good grace in case things don't work out in Washington.

Don't FBS offers have to be full ? I remember seeing somewhere that FBS can't offer partials.

No. That is no longer the case.

All sports will now be classified as equivalency sports, allowing schools to offer partial scholarships. This is a huge change from the current system where some sports, like football, basketball and volleyball, are headcount sports and only offer full scholarships.

the 2nd latest is a reoffer (or rather offer from the new staff) on Dylan Hildebrand (see above). Latest offers from New Mexico and Ball State from his twitter. He specifically used the word "full" before SDSU's offer.

Honestly only losing 2 players from the summer commits feels like a win.

The guy who blew up is fine. Stings a little to lose Wayne to NDSU but we flipped Woods right before signing day last year.

It's great that signing day is still significant to our program. A lot of FBS schools hardly make anything of it anymore. Middle of the road schools look more to the portal to build teams.

The official press release lists 19 as signing and 13 as accepted for admission. I'm guessing that means that the 13 are walking on to start with. They likely have a few scholarships left for potential portal players and some high schoolers who may be waiting to see if they get FBS offers.

December 4 is early signing start I believe? Last few years Jacks have added 1-3 mid year transfers in addition to HS early signees. A mind boggling number of potential players.. and only so many seats.

Two of the Jacks DL commits have earned P5 Offers in recent weeks.
Alijah Wayne added one from Oregon State
Cash Jacobsen added one from Texas Tech.

At this point they are both still verbally committed to SDSU but who knows for how long. Jacobsen in particular is having an insane season down in Oklahoma.

Wayne flipped to Bison. Wondering if they waited to make this public to generate some pre-playoff publicity

Micah Hach commits. Looks like he is going to play football and wrestle.

He was the Most Outstanding Lineman in the 11AA title game.

Does Texas Tech have someone from the area on staff? I keep hearing about Texas Tech offers to area kids. I don't think I have heard of any before this year. Obviously this kid from Oklahoma is not local, but it reminded me of how often I am hearing Texas Tech in our region.
