yeah i just hate this call all together. it seems like it is ALWAYS a guessing game by the refs and still guessing on the reviews. i thought that he did make an attempt to turn his head just before impact but there was a lot of helmet involved.
personally i would not have called it, but if i was an official my rule would be throw as few flags as possible unless i am beyond sure of the penalty

sad to see the defender kicked out. prefer to just get their best shot and take them out anyway

yes!! getting kicked out of a BIG game for a borderline penalty sucks!!!!
like i said if i was a ref i am not taking my hanky out of my pocket unless it is beyond clear!!! nobody needs a bunch of 50/50 calls being made!!!! nobody tunes into the game to watch the refs loosen up their throwing arms
