They might be, but I think there's always been two or three outstanding teams in the FCS at the top and then a clear gap between the rest of the top 10. If I was a voter in any poll, I'd put SDSU 1, MtSU 2, leave 3-9 open, and then start again at 10.

I think there's a reason Sagarin had JSD ranked so low compared to the polls - they haven't played anyone. They've been weighed in the balance and found wanting.

It's 30-3 and JSD just gave it back to the good guys. Pull the starters. I'm guessing the Bison will bring a fight to Brookings next week and they get a bit of a break in the schedule today. 5 minutes of rest is 5 minutes of rest.

i am guessing nobody associated with the bison is looking at today like a break

Cheering for Eck! I do think the Jacks and Bobcats are the clear 1 and 2 teams however. Idaho coming to Brookings in December would be fun.

tell me if i am wrong but i feel like the first string O LINE has stayed in the game longer than Grono and Davis and Amar in previous games

did anyone notice that Stalbird put the ball down on the middle of the coyote logo after his INT. surprised he did not get flagged for that. not saying he should have. there was nothing blatant about it but i definitely bet he was aware exactly where he put that ball

I wonder if he'd have run more than the 15yds or so, if he would've been penalized

Turned into a pretty good win. Penalties were mostly cleaned up. Secondary played fantastic with no flags that I saw. Responded after a very rough start, and defense stayed pretty dominant. Thats two games in a row now against us that USD scores 3 first, then shuts down the rest of the game!

I know that people are going to say, "if they don't want you to score, they should stop you", but I wanted SDSU to be in victory formation at the end.

A USD had a player get injured after the game was over, SDSU and USD were pushing and shoving after the PAT and then and SDSU player was talking smack after the fair catch on the kickoff.
Rubbing it in someone face just leads to frustration and chippy play.

SDSU played great today. The only time they were stopped was by 2 penalties and an INT. The defense dominated the whole game.
