I would concur. The better option for SDSU & NDSU would be the rump PAC12 poach off the MW schools west of the Rockies. That could encourage the East Slope, NM & UT MW schools to bring in replacements. The Montana, Idaho & Dakota programs could be a nice fit. There would only be two time zones to deal with. Travel, though expanded compared to Summit League, would be doable."I think we'll be OK"

I prefer the FCS playoffs to a crappy bowl game as well, but how much did MWC schools get for playing in those bowls? I assume there is a payout, probably split within a conference. I do like the idea of regular season games with Boise St, Wyoming, Colorado St, versus W. Ill, Murray State and Indiana St. An ideal FBS conference would all be in one time zone, but I believe that ship has sailed. I am good with FCS for now, but I hope we are ready to make a jump if the admin decides it is prudent. One hand points to campus...the other to the liquor store.

Count me as one who has no interest in a bowl game. I have almost no interest in FBS football until the playoffs.
